Our community has shown up and reminded each other of the innate strength and resiliency of Indigenous people and we continue to respect and recognize the contributions we have made. We acknowledge that our Nike World Headquarters is located in part on top of the Tualatin Kalapuya Village of Chakeipi. This recognition allows us to honor our generational ancestors by identifying where we come from, while showing up as proudly Indigenous in every space we enter. Our Indigenous values bring a spirit of unity that is needed in the world, especially right now.

Nike’s Native American Network & Friends hosts the Nike Footprint Summit annually with external advocates, community members and thought leaders who are grounded in Indigenous culture. We designate a space for dialogue, facilitated discussion, and strategy focused on solutions for strengthened pathways for Native American employment and representation across all facets of today’s workforce. In keeping with Nike's Win as A Team maxim, we believe it is critical to embed Indigenous voices throughout our recruitment strategy of Native American employees.
